Hudson Valley Wild Goose Chasers was founded by Peter Rizzo who is an avid outdoor and dog enthusiast. Seeing the need for nuisance goose control and having a love for training and competing with his dogs it was not all that difficult to make the transition.
Peter has been competing in trials since 1990 where he trained and titled AFC Ruchars Maximum Limit from the legendary Ruth Greening of Ruchar Kennels. Maxi was the last home bred Field Champion to come out of 50 Ruchar champions. It is all about the dogs and the level of quality work they can do. Always looking for improvement is what drives us.
The handlers at Hudson Valley Wild Goose Chasers are seasoned dog people that compete in trials and tests across the country. We take our business seriously. Our dogs are trained to the highest standards and are under complete control at all times.
