Hudson Valley Wild Goose Chasers (HVWGC) specializes in the control of Canada geese (Branta canadensis ) through humane and environmentally friendly methods.  Our goal is to provide you with a safe, clean and goose-free site.  We are affordable, reliable and most importantly‚Ķ effective.

We offer our services in the Hudson Valley Region of New York (Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam & Dutchess Counties), Northern New Jersey and Southern Connecticut.

Canada Geese are a nuisance but they are regulated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service under the guidelines set forth by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918 making it unlawful to kill, sell, hunt, disturb nests and eggs, or purchase and possess migratory birds unless permitted by the Secretary of the Interior.  This is just one of the reasons HVWGC uses highly trained border collies (commonly referred to as Goose dogs) in a method called canine harassment or hazing.

Are your customers, tenants, students, employees,  etc. stepping around or over goose droppings? If so it is time to call HVWGC. An adult Canada goose can produce 2 to 4 pounds of feces daily. Goose droppings are not only unsightly but they are unsanitary. As most of us know, geese are common around bodies of water and in parks. The accumulation of feces may cause increased levels of fecal coliform bacteria in the water, which could result in closure of public swimming areas, contamination of drinking water and more.

Don't take any chances call us now for your free evaluation and estimate.

This is not a 9-5 business.

We work during the daylight hours 7 days a week, which is one of the reasons we are so successful.
